Cost Control and Budgeting

The Cost and Budgeting Module is the core of our Cost Control Solution, providing a comprehensive set of tools to manage budgets, forecasts, weekly reports, and risks. This module ensures that all aspects of project cost management are covered.

Accessing the Module:

  1. After logging in to Asite, please make sure that the correct project is selected by checking the list of projects at the top, as shown in Figure 1. Cost master will usually be “Your organisation” + Cost & Budgeting Module.

  2. Please navigate to project forms to access the module as shown in Figure 2.

  3. Select the project information form to create a new project, and then click 'Create Form' as shown in Figure 3. You can click on the (+) icon on the left or create a form on the top right.

  4. The create screen will have a dropdown only that reads for the project master form. If your project is not shown, please create the master project form for it as described in the project master form section. The list will show only the projects without a budget created. Each project can have only one active form and one active budget.

  5. Select the required project and click on send.

  6. Once created, the form will close, and you can see your project created on the listing area as shown in Figure 5. Please click on the form to start the budgeting and cost control journey.

  7. Once you open the form, you will be able to navigate across the different sections of the module as shown in Figure 6.
