Administrator Tabs

The module will have different groups of users, workflows, disciplines, and required settings to be created before updating the budget. Such a setup is to be done by the administrator using the 3 tabs at the bottom left, which are configuration, workflow settings, and admin panel.

  1. Click on the Admin panel to access the roles and users, statuses, and disciplines. Click on the edit icon on the top right area for each section to add / edit.

  2. Access to different tabs can be changed for the newly created roles by editing the access for each role, as shown in Figure 2.

  3. Access can be changed by editing the permissions after selecting the tab.

  4. Once the roles, statuses, and disciplines are created. Click on the configuration tab to access the following:

    1. Forecast: Define how the monthly cost report (forecast) shall be generated. There are two options: either to track actuals and update forecasts (EAC) on a cost code level or a BOQ level.

    2. Cut off day: Define the default end of the working week day which will be used as a cut-off date for the weekly progress reports.

    3. Site Photos: Define where site progress photos will be uploaded in the files area (CDE) and how you would like to group them.

    4. If the contracts module is used by your organisation, you can enable integration by selecting the contracts integration.

    5. Define a folder in the files area (CDE) where all attachments will be grouped. The module allows attachments in many tabs, and all attachments will be grouped in the defined folder.

  5. Click on workflow settings to define review and approval workflows for the different tabs in the module.

  6. Click on add / edit workflow to set up the required workflows for the project.

  7. Select the required process.

  8. In the workflow, you can define thresholds, statuses, review and approval times, as well as roles. Make sure that the admin panel is updated with the information before creating any new workflow.

  9. Once the workflows are defined, please press on save on the top right corner to save the changes.
