Monthly Forecast

  1. To add a new monthly forecast, please select the forecast tab and select the required month. Months will be shown as per the defined project start and end dates in the project master form. Previous approved forecasts can’t be changed. The forecast is limited to one per month only.

  2. Select the required month and then press on download and import button to download the Excel sheet template.

  3. Download the Excel and follow the instructions mentioned in the sheet.

  4. The Excel will have the updated approved figures from last month as well as cells to update. Update the % completed (Column M), Actual Cost (Column O) and your forecast (Column Q). Earned value, variance and change in variance will be updated automatically. Update can be by cost code or BOQ item as set up in the configuration tab.

  5. Follow instructions to save the changes, and then click on choose file to select the generated JSON file and import it.

  6. The imported data will be shown on the screen for further edits/changes if required. Attachments and associations are also possible on the same screen. Do the required changes, if any and then click save.

  7. Before sending the forecast for approval, you can edit the figures by clicking on the forecast, then clicking on edit. Edits can be done manually or via Excel.

  8. Click on send for approval to approve the forecast. This will trigger the forecast workflow as defined in the workflow settings.

  9. Once the forecast is approved, no changes can be made.
